Southern Living Custom Builder
Mike Stevens Homes is a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program, representing the Greater Knoxville area.
Southern Living has spent decades writing about what makes a house work as a home: how families actually use it day to day, and what holds up over the years. The Custom Builder Program is built around that same standard. It connects builders across the South who meet a consistent bar for craftsmanship and design, and MSH represents that standard here in Knoxville.
In 2021, MSH was selected to build a Southern Living Showcase Home in Knoxville’s Northshore Town Center. The home sits on two lots, which gave the design room to breathe. It was built around outdoor living and multigenerational family life, with an open main floor for the kind of gathering that happens when everyone’s home at once. A separate guest suite gives visiting family their own space, and a detached three-car garage connects to the house by a breezeway.
