Urban Loft

On a walkable neighborhood street, Urban Loft has a brick townhome-style exterior, with light brick, black steel-framed windows and a small second-floor balcony. Black steel awnings and barn lights frame the entry. Inside, the loft takes a more industrial turn: exposed black spiral ductwork, an oversized windmill ceiling fan and a black cable-rail stair. Even the space beneath the stair is put to work, with a wine rack built into its base. The kitchen balances that steel with a full-height stone-slab backsplash, floating wood shelves and a long quartzite island lined with wicker stools. Wide-plank and herringbone wood floors add another texture underfoot, while a black barn door continues the contrast.
