About Mike Stevens Homes

We’re Mike and Marquita Stevens, and we specialize in turning dreams into realities

 

Mike Stevens Homes has been Knoxville, Tennessee’s finest custom design-build home builder for over thirty years.

 

We are a member of the Southern Living Custom Home Builder program (representing the Greater Knoxville area), and we have been incredibly blessed to be chosen to host a Southern Living Showcase Home in 2021. The home will be located in the Northshore Town Center, and we are still finalizing the house plans. For more information, check out our Showcase Home progress page.

 

Mike Stevens’s building career began as a carpenter-subcontractor, then superintendent, followed by general contractor and land developer. Some of his notable achievements are

  • Home Builders Association of Tennessee – Past President and Life Director
  • National Association of Home Builders – Lifetime Director
  • Tennessee Home Builders Hall of Fame – Inductee
  • Tennessee Housing Development Association – Board Member

Community Involvement

Mike Stevens is dedicated to giving back to the Knoxville, Tennessee community. His passion for his industry has led him to work on some incredible affordable housing communities. 

 

He partnered with WBIR in 2011 for The Labor of Love Project with Helen and Ellen Ash and the Love Kitchen and has a continued relationship with WBIR and Labor of Love projects including the Sertoma Center, which provides residential housing for adults with intellectual disabilities.

 

Mike has also worked on countless Habitat for Humanity homes and volunteered to raise money and build more than a hundred homes in Nicaragua.
